It's the Gap in left center that Carp can't hit into... all kidding aside, that is looking west southwest where I believe the gap is closing between the cells in St. Clair county. Cool light show to my south too!

WOW...real impressive storm coverage over the metro. Almost exactly how the HRRR had it pegged all day, albeit delayed by an hour or two.

Cool looking wall cloud moving through here now just NE of Waterloo proper but we only got a few mins of rain while ago. That flash flood warning has no business this far west. My daughter was petrified by the warning sound on our phones yet we have only had a quick down pour.
