Sirens went off all the way out in Eureka for some reason I live in Eureka too and couldn’t figure out why the sirens were going off. It is looking super dark to my west though. |

Tornado sirens started about five minutes ago here in Rosewood heights. Sky got D A R K...with a strange color tint (that I remember from when I was stationed in Oklahoma City...the "BEAT FEET TO SHELTER NOW" color). Currently really dark, torrential downpour.

Got windy in Vinita Park, but any (radar indicated) rotation skirted just east of us. Too many buildings around for me to see anything.

Started to see some rotation and some lowering just south of me about 5:20. But in the time it took me to grab my cellphone and pull up the NWS number it quit rotating and flattened out again.

Still does not look like 2006 yet. I remember being at the Ballpark and it was all bright looking and we looked North and it was Pitch Black. Never forget that. I said honey, think it would be a good idea to go elsewhere like your big old office building at US Bank. So we hustled our ! BACKSIDE ! out of there. If we would not have that the go to I would have just headed to one of the lower levels of a parking garage

In 2006 I was outside valeting cars in forest park at a tennis event. I remember almost being blown over by the wind it was so extreme. When the event was cancelled I rode it out in my car.
