Thursday/Friday time frame is looking interesting. Looks like a good setup for large hail with cool mid-level temps under the compact upper low.

1.75” in the rain gauge here. That seems high but it was empty yesterday morning and there’s no way anything other than rain got in there. Anyone else in Arnold get around that amount?

Oh my. A game managed. A game won. What a difference a day makes. This management better give Schildt a fair look. I know there are sexier moves, but look at how well that worked last time. Matheny was a stockholder's dream.
Everyone keeps telling me don't go after Machado, he doesn't want to be here. We need a main man. What ever happened to bring them here and show them why to stay? Last time we made a BIG in season trade it was Holliday. We had that fear then, but we also had another faith. Where did that go?

We also gave him the largest contract offer he received...If we offer Machado $400 million he will come here. If we offer Arenado a huge contract in 2020 he will also come here. If Machado really wants to play shortstop though, I would laugh and move on.

Well... it's been a heck of week. Unless I want to put in a new engine and new brakes, it is time to buy a new car! ARGH! There is NOTHING I hate more than buying cars. I hate car salesmen (sorry if any of you fall into that category.) I hate playing games. I hate being told to wait, hold on, let me talk with my manager...etc. Yet, I suddenly find myself stuck having to play "lets make a deal"...and I don't even know what I want to buy.
I need a solid, mid-sized SUV...needs to fit in my garage...lol. I doubt I will buy another GMC Terrain. This thing has cost me a small fortune in maintenance over the six years I've had it...and now it needs a new engine and new brakes.

I love my Toyota Highlander mid sized SUV. It's older than you're looking for but the model is worth considering. I'm on my second one after totaling the first in a disagreement with four deer about who had the right of way on I-44

Chris, I find myself with that same feeling with anything I have to buy anymore. My 96 F250 blew a head gasket back in late April. I tore into it myself (not really a total gear head). Machine shop said $285 to clean and surface and test the heads and should take 4-5 days. Took 2 days short of 5 weeks and cost me $947 for all new valves. I got it all back together (and it started ) but I had an oil leak at the valve covers. No big deal, I had no leaks at the heads or the oil pan, getting the valve covers to not leak should be easy, right? After 3 days of torquing down, loosening re-torquing, shifting, re-torquing they still leaked. After some investigative work I realized the auto parts store gave me the WRONG gaskets. I had to take back off all the things in the way of the valve covers to completely take them off and put the right gaskets on (from a different auto parts store) and re-install everything back on. No leaks. The long bitchy point I am trying to make is even when trying to avoid buying new stuff, other people's ineptitude or lack of give a s@#$, can still cost a lot of money. OK, I'm done. Good luck.

I have one word to say about vehicles. Honda. Been driving our entry level 2011 Fit for 7 years. Replaced the AC under warranty. That's it. Have a used 2007 Fit that has had zero problems. Had a 2004 Accord that only needed work on the electric door locks the first 225k miles. Both under warranty.
I think one of the Honda dealers in STL offers lifetime powertrain now. They believe.
I have heard Kia is making quality SUVS now

Kia Sorrentos are nice and affordable and a full 5yr 60k bumper to bumper warranty is stellar. My 2012 Optima has 62k miles and never even has had a check engine light. 274hp turbo 4 cylinder and can get 28-30mpg.

I looked at it and it's really nice

Pattern looks solid for a couple strong MCS's or Derechoes for Wednesday Night and again especially Thursday Night into Friday AM.
