Toss the GFS... man. That's as far off as I've ever seen a model DURING an event. No kidding. I looked at it and wondered if I picked the wrong day, lol. Chris, thanks again for the great job on this. Ya did well.

OT: Davis owners. I've had a low transmitter battery for a few months. I replaced the battery outside. Everything reads OK, but it hasn't logged anything in the station data since the middle of August. Has anyone else had this issue--and is there a fix? I've looked online, but answers range from software updates (I believe mine is up to date) to rebooting the inside unit (I have).
Eh...maybe scratch this whole post. Apparently it just didn't download all of the records when I opened it earlier.

Approaching the 4" mark here..looks to be about 2 more hours of measurable rain before winding down.

Watching this last band work its way through st. Clair County it has to be causing some road flooding with as saturated as everything is. Be careful out there folks.
This looks to kick some people in St Clair County well past the 6-inch mark. It's just creeping through

I could put my yard on a truck and ship it to CA to single-handedly end any drought.

Ladies of the house have a wedding shower to get to in Waterloo. A) they're going to have to take my truck. B) I still don't know if there's a way to get there that isn't flooded.

Things have to be getting more than a little serious in St Clair County now. Why they are not under a flash flood warning I don't know. I just don't think these General flood warnings carry the same weight

Looks like the NWS just posted a new graphic. Seems like the heaviest rain has shifted east. Not calling for much more here in Jeffco today.

Winding down some, with the exception of the back-building. 5.76" since midnight. 7.47" storm total. Is very close to what the Doppler estimate says from the National Weather Service. It has a small area near you just crossing 8 in now. Oops, Doppler doesn't have an 8 inch. Just shows a growing area around you that is over 7 in
