Some widespread clearing north of I-70 this afternoon across central MO. This evening certainly looks like it could be interesting.

Batch coming out of the Ozark’s coming straight towards us. Or will it die out before it makes it here? Doesn’t look like it at this point anyhow

I am taking my mother to the show with us and let's just say she doesn't move that fast anymore so I'm hoping for no quick downpours lol

Dry as a whistle through Tuesday PM. No storms expected now tonight or tomorrow due to intense cap both locally and upstream. The 'Heat Dome' has now pushed into the region. Just plain stupid hot next 3 days. Might get interesting again Tuesday Night into Late next week.

Little bit training right over the heart of the city moving into Metro East where they dry up. Watching on radar it looks to have gone through the cycle three times. Each time the areal coverage gets a bit bigger

What a difference a day makes. It is flat nasty out there.
Cold front Wednesday looks really nice. Decent chance of rain and storms too. Gfs has the upper 30's making their first appearance in northern MN Wednesday.

One of my teachers scored a signed pic for me! Thank you Chris! drive.google.com/open?id=1E12p7JS1xf9siBrZPaIEE4t0OnJbX-xlIf you are looking for something to do this weekend, come out and pay me a visit at the St. Louis Science Center as I take part in the National Weather Association's WEATHER READY FEST. NWA is holding their annual conference here in St. Louis next week and in advance of that conference, they are holding WEATHER READY FEST... to engage the national weather community with the St. Louis community! I will be there showing off the Fox 2 Storm Runner all day. The event is Saturday, August 25th from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (although I can only stay through about 4 PM). Tickets are free, but must be reserved online through the event website. RESERVE TICKETS HERE

Look who I caught trying to drive off with the Storm Runner at Weather Ready Fest today! You didn't think you would get away with it did you Reb? Serious, it was great to see some of the crew out there today. Some may have come and gone and not introduced yourselves... but it was great to see Weax and his daughter (a possible future meteorologist!) come out and join us today.

After Weather Fest, come on over to Gateway for the Indy car race. I’m going to have some BIG surprises for fireworks on the parade laps, and post race. I wasn't there, but enjoyed the NBCSN reference "what do they do on the 4th of July?" after seeing your post-race show.

Farmers Almanac is predicting a long, cold and snow filled winter. STL is in the "teeth chattering cold and plentiful snow" region. In contrast, the Old Farmers Almanac predicts the opposite, warmer than normal and dry. Not sure which has a better accuracy track record.
