No complaints just interesting comments.
It almost exactly matches the RPM... which when I came in at 1 AM was bone dry for STL.

FYI... I am on the air at 330 am tomorrow so if you are up and able... post pictures and storm reports... I will need the content to fill many hours.

I’ll likely be able to get some good pics from the stand so long as too many beers don’t go down tonight.

It is awesome to see this come to fruition. Whether it snows in your back yard 5 inches or 2, this storm, this early, this far south is a thing of beauty and why I personally love the weather! I, like many on this forum, understand the frustration of having and not having. We certainly have a lot of not having. But I have said this many times and continue to believe that getting mad over something you have NO control over is a waste of energy. Just my two cents. I have milk, bread and barley water and will use some PTO tomorrow so I can enjoy whatever happens. Have a great day y'all! Yep. I view this one as a bonus! Fairly decent sized, early in the season. It doesn't happen like this very often around here.

Glad that it was friendly and lighthearted versus all the whining and complaining that we will be getting snow.

Did anyone happen to see the article that came out yesterday or the day before about how the lack of sunspot activity is cooling the atmosphere? I didn't get to really read it all, but basically it said our winter should be pretty cold.

I'm sure you guys have covered the models being drier.
But it's mostly the NAM because the system is faster and less moisture gets conveyored back this way.

While you are all snowed in tomorrow....there is a great new series on Netflix called "Medal of Honor" It's the story of Medal of Honor recipients. It was a great series. I finished it last night.

Just got off the NWS conference call. 5-7 inches STL proper, out here in Sullivan, 3-5 inches. Max centered just east of the Metro. Onset 6-9pm today for MO, ending in MO noon to 3pm tomorrow. Slight concern for areas that receive 6"+ due to leaves still on the trees...localized power outages are possible. That is one thing I was thinking about. This is going to be a wet snow and so many trees are still filled with leaves. I have an apple tree right now that looks like it's in mid summer form almost. With this in mind how do the winds look? Sent from my SM-T310 using proboards

[brm i saw an article on that and a similar one if not the same one a few months ago. the article i read didnt address this upcoming winter per se but proposed a larger scale period of minimum activity and said it coincides with a cooler earth overall. i recall that 2010 minimum was also pretty extreme as well as this one. we will continue to have maximums plus there is some coincidence with volcanic activity.

Fun fact but today is the anniversary of the Peanuts Football Gag which started in 1951 featuring Violet instead of Lucy with Lucy being introduced a year later on November 16th. Haha, you would post this fun fact, lol.
