Radar looks good. DP up to 12 Saturation looks highly questionable But the rap has started to trend slightly further South tomorrow

The last few runs of the rap is really nice tomorrow.
Has pretty stout lift running through the DGZ for about 3 hours right through the metro.
It is a legit 1-3" clipper.
We'll see.

The models are showing some pretty decent Lee powerful snow showers very quickly coming through around midnight

Supposed to go downtown for the Billikens game at 1:00pm. NAM and the short term models show a quick hit of snow from about 10:00 to 1:00. Accumulations don't show much. Should there be driving concerns in the Metro?

Should there be driving concerns in the Metro? Yes, I think there could be slick spots at the very least. The ground is quite cold, so it probably won’t tske much to cause some inputs IMO

No way in hell it gets below zero next week. Mic drop.
I stand by my previous statement that winter in terms of storms is pretty much done.

Lambert could skirt by if the cold dome edges slightly east, but it's going to be freaking cold either way.

The radar has decently blown up.
We'll see if that translates into anything

No steady snow, just random flurries here in Wentzville, it looks like some slightly heavier returns are dropping in from the north west

Good morning all... For starters...going dusting to 1" essentially along and north of the Missouri River..through metro STL...and north of I-64 in Illinois with this morning's clipper. It is in and out really fast...even faster than last Sunday's system...so that should limit accumulations.
As for next week's cold... the Euro has backed off the extremeness of the cold...but nothing like its crazy 53...It looks somewhat more reasonable today...with a range of +5 to -10 across the viewing area at the coldest stretch Wednesday into Thursday. With that in mind... I'm going to stick with an public forecast of 0 for Wednesday night and continue to mention the potential for temps below zero.

There is indications that we could see a pretty good burst of moderate to heavy snow expecially in the east side of the river.
Definitely a great day for snow lovers
