Radar loop have some yellow returns near farmington and southwest of Perryville. Let me know what that is. We have moderate snow continuing to fall here. Ground is white and saw that nws just pushed our expected hourly expected total snowfall for close to 4 from 2.5 inches earlier this morning. Friend in Perryville is reporting multiple accidents and very busy scanner.

Snow in Waterloo, coming down pretty good. Starting to dust everything over. He nice to pull an inch out of this. I can't complain too much but it sure looks good to my south.

I want to point out 2 things. First I mentioned that the new Windows version of RadarScope is available...see below. And according to SPC mesoanalysis the 850mb center of circulation was in northwest TN (I confirmed with VWP from nearby radars) where I placed the origin of the range tool. So the heavy snow is actually about where it should be.

Nope, one day of below normal temps followed by a rapid warm up with a rain to cold storm Tuesday. Then average temps with another cold front late next week/weekend. If it gets cold enough next weekend, then maybe we can cash in on a clipper. The southern storm track looks to shut down for a week or two.

NW flow gets established with a revolving door or big time arctic shots
Clipper train gets rolling to with several dropping snow around here

I’m just south of Farmington, between Farmington and Fredericktown. Heavy snow and blowing conditions. Yard covered. Looks amazing!
I don’t feel bad at all for STL. I can’t count the number of times I sat here and read the forum just to hear what it was like to get snow while I had a dusting to nothing. We’re not even close to catching up. We deserve some love too. :-)

When was the last time a modeled clipper train ever actually made a stop here? Hope we don't go to cold and dry.

Moderate snow in Fredericktown with a dusting already. Heading to Farmington for work now. Let's hope people stay home and be healthy today and let us stay off the roads! Yeah, with some of the local crazies out there and using their phones and driving and being a Saturday. I'm sure you'll be busy today. You be careful! It's nice to actually have a decent afternoon moderate snow coming down for a change. I appreciate it! I couldn't believe the amount of traffic on 67. People just don't listen lol. Probably be seeing some of Todd's guys here soon if people don't just go home.
