This really is incredible. Absolutely pouring with 30 mph winds. Flake size up again. I tried to measure and best guess is 3".

Just measured a little shy of 2 inches.... I can see that. Grass is just about covered everywhere, and it's been snowing since a little after 11:00.
HRRRRRRRR did a decent job of picking this up this morning.

Meanwhile in Alabama, that QLCS is producing some tornadoes... Classic debris ball/signature as that tornado left the town of Wetumpka...yikes.

Got around 1” as a guesstimate here just SW of Desoto. Snow plow came through & literally the road was recovered within 5 min b/c of blowing snow.

Approaching 4” here in Perry County. Averaging over 1” per hour, including 1/2” in about 15 to 20 minutes. I’m guessing that was the death-band!

Still 1/4 mi visibility in Marissa, and that's an improvement over where it was about an hour ago.

This has been pretty remarkable. It's been snowing sideways for upwards of 4-1/2 hours. 1/4 mi vis. Probably 2.5" or so, but no real way to measure out where I am. I also expect nice snow piles in the attic that will melt and leave little wet spots on the ceiling.

Echo what others had said as they report totals. I'm at or around 3 inches when I measured, but hard telling with all the wind blowing everything around! My kid sure is enjoying it for a bit before we go back inside to warm up! Wind really howling and blowing the snow around.

Paducah JUST issued a winter storm warning. A little late to the party. I-55 is shutdown in multiple spots and the scanner is going crazy, according to my Mom. Multiple slide-offs, electric lines down and accidents.
