Hey some repetitive postings can get really annoying.
But let's try to remember to have compassion for mental Ilness/behaviorial deficiency.
Isn't there a post limit function?
Maybe we could put someone in time out for a while by limiting their posts instead of out right bans.

I think my 3-6” prediction from the last couple days is probably to high, I still like the 2-4” range for the metro. Definitely no warning event. I’m sure they will issue an advisory for the whole viewing area. Qpf is not even enough down south for a warning.

Are we in that phase of storm evolution when we start willing the storm north and stronger?

This lucy thing has been ran into the ground. Trampled on. Beaten with a crowbar. Stomped on again. Ran over with a bus. Beaten again. And hung out only to get blown away.

$20 says the storm next week drops 6-10 inches between Chicago and Saint Louis followed by heavy rain for all of us.

fwiw, there has been a seasonal trend for a last minute amping up of winter systems, and a further north precip shield. OutTwister did a good job of speaking to these in the afd, with counterpoints to limiting factors that I have had in the back of my mind. I'm not deviating away from my current thinking of 4 inches at this point, although I must admit to a lot of uncertainty, especially since I started with a minor event earlier on a few days ago on this very system. We get another shot later this week, although from what I recall, it looked like a warmer system, relatively minor. This is March, and things tend to change last minute. I think March is a time period in which it presents some of the most significant challenges to longer lead public forecasting because it just seems like a lot of things come out of blind spots more often which impact the sensible weather we get.

Motorola still makes phones? I had a couple of their flips back in the day when they were hot Moto X4 Android one is what I use. Super phone with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage running stock Android that gets all the updates for 2 years. Cost $180 new. I use it with Cricket. If you need to go with the best camera and a huge phone then go with a Google pixel. Android is so much more diverse than iOS. Motorola has amazing devices

I’m not trying to come off like an a$$ by saying this so please don’t take this with any bit of disrespect. Can we please cut the android iPhone back and forth. There’s some weather in the forecast and for those that prefer to read the updates on the weather and not what phone everyone has, reviews and what’s preferable, can we stick to the weather please? Nothing wrong with phone talk while we wait for the new maps to come out. Thank you for being the only person to respond to my post respectfully. I was not meaning to be harsh asking for the non-weather back and forth to possibly be redirected into the General Discussion forum. Speaking of phones and using Tapatalk, it can get a little cluttered that’s all. Keep doing what you’re doing. I apologize for tossing my opinion out there. It didn’t need to warrant all the negative childish responses like “Android”. I will just keep to myself next time instead of voicing a respectful suggestion.

I’m surprised how badly the euro has handled this system. I need to stick to my rule of not getting sucked into it’s super beefy solutions a few days out

Well I mostly feel for the Mets.
Even 2-3" would make me plenty happy.
But the Mets started with 6" metro wide and we might end up with 1-2".
But the vorticity is pretty solid so I think this will still produce 3-5" for most of us.
I have had 15-16" this season and I am pretty grateful to have gotten that.
So yeah this might end up a little disappointing. But most of you guys have had 5-10" more than I have.
