If we can clear out and stay clear and winds can subside we'd probably get Zero for a low pretty easily but winds will likely be high enough to prevent that. Still gonna feel brutal with the wind chill regardless. Very impressive Arctic Punch for early March.

Almost comical for me. Visibility has never been that low nor flakes that big.. In fact I have light snow with tiny flakes at the moment.

Yep...radar and lift is really collapsing quickly now...this thing is flying. Doesn't look like the grass will quite get covered here.

I've been a a small area of low radar reflectivity compared to most other areas for an extended period of time now.

M1.4" just now in far eastern St. Peters. Are you sure? That seems low. ST. Peters had a report of 2" almost 90 mins ago. And now 3.5-4" report from St. Peters

As much as I love snow and winter, it's tough to go throw BP outside in this. I've got an inside place to go, but it's a 10 min drive to and from. I think even I'm ready to move on. Maybe we'll have a dry next few months...
Side Blues notes after going to the game last night: 1. I hate playing Dallas. They are relentless going after the puck, even on the penalty kill. We handle the puck too much, and everything was around the edges. You've got to get the puck on net and bang home rebounds. 2. We really need Schenn and/or Frenchie back in the lineup. 3. I've said it here before--having a 2nd line with Schwartz AND Steen on the wings is a waste of a 2nd line center, if that's what you consider him to be.

Last batch in entering Belleville but seems to be dissolving as it passes through probably not going to pick up much additional accumulation with it.

Just now measured 5 more times in widely dispersed locations on flat untreated surfaces away from drifting sources. All were 1.6-1.7" with an overall average after rounding of 1.6". Like I said I've been in a narrow stripe of 5-15dbz returns for quite a while. Just to my north has probably did have quite a bit more snow judging by radar.

Last gasp of snow. Not 4-6" but nice mood snow. Crappy driving snow, though.

Looks like strong storms Saturday night from my untrained eye. Are the ingredients there or just some heavy rain and average storms?

Looks like strong storms Saturday night from my untrained eye. Are the ingredients there or just some heavy rain and average storms? Dewpoints still low 40s-50s (need 60s to really get excited about anything real severe) and CAPEs not really there. I'd say the latter right now but negative tilted trough is something to watch. Lots of time to keep an eye on it.

It's starting to blow around a lot for me too. This is making it hard to measure kinda of like the "almost blizzard" of 2014.
