Just drove from Washington to Wentzville on the back roads through Foristell. Roads were slick but passable if you take your time. Heading to St. Peters in an hour to cheer on my son’s girlfriend at the state swim meet. Thank you MODOT for keeping all us crazies out on the road safe.

Have 1" in Belleville.
Roads are becoming snow covered.
A lot more than I expected.

18z icon would be a pretty nasty ice storm Tuesday night.
Has a temperature bias though, so might be 33 and rain

My friend in Rolla said the snow just stopped. Judging by the pic he sent it looks like 2" there.

Heaviest snow off the day with large flakes.
Roads will definitely become snow covered after this little batch.

255 between Edwardsville and Belleville wasn’t to bad. Snow covered in spots but nothing to bad.

We have .25" at Knob Lick (10 miles S of Farmington). Hwy DD is partially covered. Still snowing lightly; had a period of heavy snow and large flakes.

A lobe of vorticity is dropping out of Iowa through NEMO along the river this evening.
Another piece over Eastern Kansas is going to spark up and keep snow going South of I70 on and off untill 7-9pm from West to East.

We have 1.25" by the Metrolink in Belleville. That's measured on an elevated undisturbed deck.
Some grassy areas are a few tenths more.
Secondary roads, sidewalks, and parking lots are all snow covered here.
Color me very happily surprised.
Back down to a steady light snow

Hard to believe we might actually get close to 2". Accumulation will keep improving with dusk. The key for us will be how effective the 6-8pm batch ends up.

Im surprised we even got this much snow. This might be one of the few times the models overestimated the DAM
