Flat out ripping snow here west of Perryville. A little sleet mixed in but by far the heaviest snow of the day. 2” of snow/sleet and rising!

Looks like quit a few people including several to the north are gunna cash in with 3”. The lucky folks out in Owensville to Rolla get the elusive 4”. Someone on FB apparently measured 5” just north of Rolla. This has been a really great snowfall for most of us! Meh. Underachiever down here in New Union, IL.

It’s unreal how it looks like mod snow is moving in and then it just disappears..... it’s been doing this for the last 2 hours.... if it were rain it would be dumping on us....

Rather underwhelming here. Maybe an inch back at home in Waterloo. Edwardsville had more snow! All the good stuff has been just to the south all evening.

Apparently so because no way Old Union, MO folks can really complain anymore. I give the season an A+ out here. Some may disagree but I think it’s been a great winter.

Chris, I think you need to take that rainy day whisky and trade it out with a celebratory whisky. Congrats on a great forecast!

When you look at the snow totals for the last two winters, we have had a good one and we forget how long winter feels! We really have just had a couple months of it! Feb is halfway done! March is either winter or spring! But the days are getting longer and we’ve had good snows!

Still hanging on to moderate snow here. Approaching 3.0" in Perryville. Really ended up being a nice system. The multiple rounds of hampsters is how I'll remember this one.

Great forecast by Mr. Higgins. When the board starts freaking out that they are going to get missed to the south, we start getting excited 😜. Sleet monster (as always) came into play but definitely the big time snowflakes made it a good storm.

After the snow just struggled to accumulate, then got compacted by some substantial sleet accumulations, have made it back up 2.8” with light snow falling

00z ggem with a nice thump Tuesday night as well.
Timing is already a concern for Wednesday morning rush hour and possibly some icing with no sunlight only makes it worse

Gfs has the snow line through stl Tuesday night. I think I'll be singing in the rain. That's ok, I've had mine and couldn't be happier. I get the feeling this may be my last decent snow this winter. Just a hunch so I'm taking it in.
