Really hoping the hospitals don’t go “that readmission rate is looking high, better throw it out” lol Well. You should throw it out if the readmisson rates are due to unrelated events. Like. Being admitted for CHF, discharged after 3 days and then as you try to get in your car in the hospital parking lot, you fall and break your hip therefore getting readmitting. Lol, not trying to derail this board, but had this exact discussion today regarding some program areas around social determinants of health. We should definitely grab a beer sometime if we are in the same area. I promise my next post will be stl weather related

Took it offline.
Back to weather - I have a bad feeling about this Friday system. A co-worker is driving to KC so I told him to go tonight instead of tomorrow morning. It’ll be a real boner if he has to pay for another night of lodging for no reason.

The Rgem still has a decent Northward extent of snow.
Looks drier than 18z.
I dunno maybe 2-3" through the metro

IRONICALLY THE NAM IS QUITE A BIT WETTER SATURDAY. Bringing 1"+ over the N 2/3rds of the metro I just keep playing Chris’ message in my head. Rarely if ever does accumulating snow fall south of the 850 low in STL. That thing is in Kirksville. We did get at 3-5 up here in Chicago under a similar setup, but the NWS up here even called it unusual and it required very cold antecedent temps.

00z Icon doesn’t look like more than 1-3, but really hasn’t since 24 hours ago.
It has never been big on this, so take with a grain of salt.
I feel objective in this situation, but also want to be genuine. I would be very worried STL north and east

Weaker and south or more amped and north. Can’t have it both ways most of the time.

Hey Friv - Do you think the Blues will ever loose again? WOW! I think you jinxed them just now. The run is amazing. But personally I expected them to finish in the top four in the conference. And fight for the Presidents Trophy if they ended up getting solid goaltending. The biggest surprises to me are guys like sundquist, barbashev, and Thomas really making an impact. And this is all going on with Steen and Schwartz basically abscent and Perron hurt. Really awesome tho. the only question I have is how many times has a team won the Stanley Cup with a rookie goaltender who only played half the season. I don't know the answer but I'm guessing it's not very many

I put over twenty eight years of emotion and unconditional support into my love of the Blues. Getting that vested in a team with such a legacy of mediocrity is draining. I am happy when they are playing well, but their history in the playoffs has always been abysmal. That and the NHL isn't nearly as fun to watch as it was prior to fifteen years ago. Just one damn cup before I die would be nice though!

This is becoming a special group. They have a stance to make a good run I think.
They are winning 2-0 at the moment but they are a bit sloppy tonight. Arizona for some reason gives us issues.
Hoping for 8 in a row!

Yeah you're right but this is a little different kind of a setup versus what that is referring to. This is from a weakish WAA with frontegenesis. The set up has even improved the last day. But the ceiling is only 1" really

Considering they were last im the whole league at start of the year. Quite amazing. Hope thry are not peaking too soon.

00z gfs is ugly. Exact reason the nam can’t be thrown out The funny thing is the nam has pretty good lift. But never breaks the dry air down. But all of the models have trended drier coming out of the Rockies.

It has taken time but i am really impressed with our coach. Also all Stanley Cup Champs have had great offensive defensemen - That has been the key lately, of course with great goal tending (not by Allen). I think confidence is everything and the young guys have it now...Look out!

I hope we are able to salvage at least 1-2" through the immediate metro.
Because if we end up shut out. The pro Mets will take another social media beating.

Just one damn cup before I die would be nice though! I'm with you... been a season ticket holder for 25+ years- pre Brett Hall. Was at the Monday night miracle, Joseph vs Cheveldae, watching Belfour break his stick over the net after Janney's goal swept them in the playoff... Owen Nolan scoring from center ice in game 7 our Presidents Trophy year.
I think they are as good as anybody in the west... but can't see anyone beating Tampa 4 out of 7

This would be an all time bust for the euro. Several days of consistent runs.
It could hold serve, but damn what a beat otherwise. I did lose 19 consecutive blackjack hands once and this would be right up there
