Second best show of all time to Breaking Bad Oh no doubt, Breaking Bad was awesome! Better Call Saul is great too! AND... I hear they are doing at least one Breaking Bad sequel movie that picks up where the show left off. Primarily about what happened to Jessie when he left. Walter White is in it too, but not sure if they are flashback scenes or what. I'm hoping that this project is a go, since this is the last season of Better Call Saul.

GFS is super active from next week on. Not good news for the rivers. It's been nice to be able to walk in the yard the last few days without sinking. Yea I noticed that too. Hopefully it's overdone. Otherwise the flooding is going to be a major, major problem. Seeing flooding back in Montana significant enough to close part of I-90. There are several flood control dams between there and the affected parts of Nebraska (and us). But there's also a lot of snow to melt and the flood control system can only accommodate so much water. If the upper Midwest gets a fast warmup it's going to be a very long spring

I started watching Game of Thrones, but stopped. Not sure that the wife would get into it like I would/will. We're into Ozark, and our kids got us started watching Grey's Anatomy. It's a guilty pleasure...I'm not proud.

Models still showing hope for one last snow next weekend. Would be nice to see some heavy snow and then flip to mid 70s and baseball. No, no more snow.

I have fallen into a trap... I have been sucked into "Game of Thrones." Not a series for the easily offended or weak of stomach...and definitely not one to wqtch with young members of the family...or my saintly mother. But, it is still captivating. In two weeks, I have made it through 3 1/2 seasons. I need to stop...and take a break lol. Want something a little more family friendly? Check the CWs Arrow and Flash.

More off-topic: taxes suck. Don't mean for this to be a political rant, but I'll try to keep it clean. 1) A tax law was hastily implemented without much documentation causing many of us that look for a net-zero (no refund/no owe) hanging in the balance without any idea what to claim on the W4. 2) Removing exemptions and capping the property/local taxes was not saved by the child tax credits -- I hate being lied to. 3) I still don't know what to claim ont he W4. Bottom line: Because MO is run by morons, I owe the state for the first time in 20 years. And I owe the Fed because nobody knew how to account for the tax law and thus, my withhodings were out of whack. I went from knowing EXACTLY what was going to happen to throwing my hands in the air and saying "we'll see". It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it was enough to cause some temporary pain.

I know on the STL NWS page there's a line graph showing the hourly forecast of temp, humidity, winds etc. for an upcoming period of time. Is there a place to see a similar graph for the past 24 hours. I'm specifically looking for barometric pressure. I seem to recall seeing one years ago but now I can't find it. Didn't know if ti was something the NWS had eliminated.

Getting some peaks of Sun here in Belleville. Hopefully it continues to clear out so we can build up that instability and get warm for storms later.

I'm at Married/0 for federal, but I believe the wife is at M/1. Since allowances don't really matter, they might as well remove them from the W4. We'll change that next week, and I might just have extra taken out. Overall, the tax was lower, but the withholding tables must be completely out of whack. I haven't gotten to MO yet. I'm not looking forward to it. I usually owe them. I'm afraid it's going to be ugly this year.

15Z HRRR seems to hint at a solid Supercell possibly tornadic on top of Belleville or very close this evening.

And there we go... Enhanced risk just posted from the 1630Z update from the SPC for Jefferson County in Missouri into Monroe and St. Clair counties in Illinois in the metro area and points south. Main risk appears hail 30% (not surprising) along with a secondary risk of damaging winds (15%). Tornado threat is low at only 2%.

Keeping an eye on this one. Son#2 heading back from a choir competition in Atlanta. The 2 buses are just east of Paducah at a food stop. Expected to be back in Arnold about 8:00 so they'll be hitting this on the IL side at some point. Hoping these are passed by the time they get into mid IL

Currently it looks like Troy, Mo might miss storms all together. Booooo! Kind of a gap between storms. Hate that with these setups.
