Snowfall amounts just keep getting more and more absurd for the upper midwest next week. Who wants to take a road trip to Minnesota?

Trying to remember...is this the warmest day so far in 2019? Or have we been in the 80's already?

83 degrees RH dropped to 47% (20 points since am)
Family in WI totally bummed that it's going to snow again. They're all done with winter in their heads. I'm sure that they'd want us to take all of it.

Quite a bit of thunder and heavy rain...big fat drops. No hail, maybe a 25 mph gust. Kind of meh. Now there's a rainbow

Just when I thought I could put the forum away until next winter, an April snowstorm rears it’s head. A quick look at the guidance says this is an I-80 storm. That is, if you are looking for accumulation. Could some flakes fly this far south, sure. I actually expect to see some. However, we would need to be in at least the 6” band to get anything to stick long enough to measure it. All of this being said, a middle April snow matches up well with a middle November snow. I can't agree with that. The sun angle today is equal to early September

Continues to be an impressive cell. Multiple reports of golf-ball sized hail with that storm.

Well so much for no storms today... Nice juicy cell moving right for St. Clair county with some dime sized hail in it by the looks of radar. Nice light show to the west.

Anyone else notice the last 2 hours or so are radar over St Clair County you could see high clouds streaking from Southwest to Northeast.
in real life from Swansea Illinois looking towards St Louis you could see these very high clouds they were dark moisture-laden clouds.
They basically stat stationary right along the east side of the river from Monroe County up through St Clair County.
Then all the sudden this thunderstorm complex reaches that area and blows up.
I don't know what's going on but you're not going to convince me that those two things are not completely linked
