Just wondering how does the weather look for grilling for next weekend in the area? Looks warm but there is a chance of rain

My heart goes out to those affected. Those of us around here know how that feels. I hope we aren't destined for a repeat this year too.

Guess the weather in the area is settling down. Posts are starting to be between a few hours apart.

The images are all too familiar IMO, we will see some flooding. I think this will be the new norm, unfortunately. At least until different areas work together on a solution the different levees each area has will continue to cause problems upstream or downstream.

Also looking for advice on a new weather station as my old one finally completely bit the dust. I'm on a 3rd floor apartment placing it on my balcony, so I'm not sure which features should be nixed as being wildly inaccurate?

Putting plows and spreaders away for the season this afternoon.......hope I’m not doing this to early. Looks like a safe bet. CPC has above normal temps across the middle of the country for the next month
Looks like we can just about put a fork in this winter

Nice track with the clipper Wednesday but alas...no cold air. Just about ready to stick a fork in it.

We'll all still talk when the summer storms come in! And after July 4, the rest of the summer flies by in a hurry!

12z gfs is shockingly interesting for early next week.
An obviously unlikely event, but I love seeing snow on the models.

Gfs showed a similar setup for this weeks system a week ag iirc. In reality, with temps around 60, id probably go with a similar forecast for next monday...maybe go with 50 for now as it does look a bit more robust.

In other news, it was almost 80* in Seattle this afternoon. At some point that ridge and warmth is going to come out...but the NW flow is sure fighting hard. Looks like maybe towards the last week of the month we could see a milder pattern develop.
