I'm sure you all are watching fox 2 but NWS says large tornado on the ground. Wow look at that debris ball! Bad bad deal.

Further south the storms are segmented and not a connected line. Super cells?

That radar image is so impressive. Making a scary bee line for the NWS office too Is it just me, or is the original circulation gone and the energy shifting back to the leading edge of the line closer to 40/64?

10k ft TDS is well inside the empirical data sets of EF2/EF3 tornadoes.

The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 207 continues.
SUMMARY...Potential significant tornado entering western portions of the St. Louis Metro area.
DISCUSSION...A linear segment has interacted favorably with a warm-frontal zone located west-to-east through parts of the St. Louis Metro area. This storm is moving northeast around 50 knots, and experimental guidance suggests continued potential for a significant tornado in the region. This storm should continue migrating northeastward through the western and northern portions of St. Louis Metro area over the next hour or so.

Wow!! What a hard hit right here at 44/union just northwest of the Harley Shop in Villa Ridge. The twister came in rain wrapped with little warning and incredible wind. I cannot confirm it was on the ground entirely because it came through the woods and when I seen the trees collapse down then wrap around I took shelter it was that bad!!!

Nothing like a real basement drill to wake you up. Left the walk out when some wind hit. Heard some weird rando creaking for a bit the it stopped.
