Was seeing debris up to 16K feet. Correction, debris was up to 20k feet. Well correlated with violent tornadoes.

Not sure who this is but it sure doesn’t sound good
Brandon Robinson @brobwx I'm listening to scanner traffic from the Dayton area. The damage sounds catastrophic. They're scrambling to mobilize. They are going house to house searching for people in the affected area. Sounds like people are trapped everywhere. Pray for our neighbors in Ohio tonight.

This has been a rough stretch of severe weather. Jeff City, El Reno, and Dayton just in the last few days

I'm also watching WeatherNation's coverage. Of course TWC has nothing live airing because it isn't the East Coast or they'd be all over it. For those unaware, you can watch WeatherNation live on their Roku app with no provider login.

Looks like it passed over Page Manor as well which is one of the locations I've grew up on when we were stationed at Wright Patterson AFB during my early elementary years. Looks by the appearance of the images above that it was an EF3 possibly a low end EF4 strength.
Really getting concerned for us Wednesday early morning and again Wednesday evening/night where we could be facing multiple rounds of severe storms. St. Louis metro could be getting it's turn very soon for some wicked weather.

I'm somewhat skeptical of storm coverage & severity tomorrow night in the immediate metro this far east of the dry line and this far south of the frontal zone. It appears by tomorrow evening the environment may be capped and not seeing a lot of indications that a potential MCS can work it's way into St. Louis with a more easterly direction favored along the IA/MO border. But I could be wrong too... Booo. 😉 Thanks for the update though. Booo?
Are you insane? Have you not seen the type of damage inflicted around the Midwest over the last week? Give me a break. Your thirst for severe weather is beyond tired.

SPC missed this one badly I was just looking at the number of tornado reports today and it’s up to 48. That’s the most I’ve seen in one day I think

Couple of Dayton TV stations doing live stream coverage. I'm not familiar with the area but it sounds like several communities hit ; multiple injuries.

Saw a video where a Dayton met told people to stop complaining about cutting into The Bachelor.
Sad commentary on people's view of severe weather

Do we have to go over this again and again... Nobody wants lives lost or damage to property. Just some good thunderstorms. I'm not asking for tornadoes. No U give me a break.

Just wanted to say how humbling it is to see the communities in Eldon and Jefferson City come together to help each other. As I was selfishly enjoying my Memorial Day weekend, reflecting on the reason we have memorial day, those families, neighbors, friends and in some cases enemies came together to help each other. I noted no more than 5 Menards trucks on the way into the lakes and 12 as I was going home yesterday, traveling into the area with the items I am sure they will need to rebuild and repair. As we all know, not one life was lost in the storms last Wednesday evening, Thursday morning. A testament to the awareness of the NWS, local weather stations and the people in the path. Having had to drive through both Jeff City and Eldon to get to where we enjoyed ourselves this weekend while others had to comb through belongings and pick up the pieces I noted the selflessness of others and wanted to share how humbling it was to see. I thought about stopping to help and do what I could to assist but did not want to get in the way. I am sure you can find someway to help if you like. I personally donated $150 in groceries and toiletries to a local church in Eldon. Nobody wants this type of thing to happen. As weather enthusiasts we get caught up in the awe factor over the forces involved, but hate to see this happen to anyone. We have to say this at almost ever severe weather out break. I hope you all have a blessed week and enjoy your day!
