What in the hell happened tonight? Wow. I can't even watch. Welcome back, Blues. I mean this will only make it 2-1 in the series and we've fought back all year, but they've completely dominated us. Best you can hope for is to get a couple goals to feel a little better about the next game.

Dime size hail in Cotterville right now. Second cell is passing over. Much more rain and lightning than the first and about a minute worth of hail.

This is not the time for them to do the “I forgot how to play hockey’ thing. Not in the final , especially in the first game here. We deserve better

Nice periods of strong winds swaying the trees and even a flag pole, then some blinding rain with pea to Lima Bean sized hail. Overall nice little storm. Looks like lots of smaller weaker backbuilding storms forming behind the main batch.

.6” in about 15-20 minutes of heavy downpours. Lots of lightning and thunder with wind gusts to 30mph at times

Sure sounded like 15-30 seconds of hail with this latest round, but by the time I got to the door it had stopped and in the darkness I could not see any hail stones on the ground.

Debating pulling the nice vehicle into the garage. That cell coming down 55 looks to have some hail. Probably small though.

Pretty impressed with the intensity the storms are maintaining a couple hours after sundown.
Let's hope the Blues treat Monday night like an elimination game, because that's what it is in my mind.

Not sure why people overreact to blowouts. Once you are down a lot, it snowballs and you play completely different than in a typical game.
It’s one game regardless of the score.
I doubt the Blues think they are inferior because they got blown out once. That would be a shocking level of mental toughness.
Also, Busch stadium must be setting an alcohol sales record tonight.
It’s a perfect storm:
1. Full gate for a rivalry game 2. Fan depression over Blues 3. Longest rain delay ever 4. Saturday night

Uh...What's going on at the Winfield gauge? Is this accurate? Not seeing this type of rise at any of the upstream gauges...

Correct, but they are professional players and are not expected to let the emotion of the game determine their level of play, especially when losing as dramatically as they did. On the weather side of things we had 1.65 inches according to the Davis on the roof in North St. Peters.

We've had 6 consecutive months with above normal precipitation. June is off to a fast start as well.
