Blew through here with 47 mph wind gust. .63 rain so far. Much needed rain BUT, the humidity tomorrow will be stifling!

Moderate winds of 40 to briefly 50 mph with the outflow. But once that passed, as Nascarfan said, the rain rate has been pretty pedestrian. Lightning has been no big deal, as well

Strong little shortwave coming down the northeastern flank of the ridge tomorrow late morning afternoon which could blow up some thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon which could help keep the mercury down tomorrow if the storm cluster verifies, still be as humid as heck though but won't be as oppressive. Thursday into Sunday looks sauna like however. Pretty close good call for today

First weather update I've provided without NWS backup (story or sitrep) since joining an ESDA team. That type of system seems to rebuild and intensify with every river town it passes.

Yellows are backbuilding into High Ridge. Picked a bad year to have a roof leak.
Reminds me of '93 and '95 where it would rain a lot even when it really wasn't supposed to rain.
