Most of it is… all we're getting are a few sprinkles or potentially a ping or 2 of sleep thanks to the dry air. Nothing that would even require an umbrella this far Northeast. You can really see how the dry air is eating into it on radar very unimpressive returns over our area and no big eastward push with the higher reflectivity stuff.

Happy Thanksgiving all! Rained here in Branson all morning long. Started about midnight. Not very heavy, just annoying. Waited until about 11:30 yesterday morning to head out because of the wind. I'm glad I did too, because a four hour white knuckle drive is no fun!

Looks like we could see some snow showers Sunday if near-surface temps are cold enough as moist, cyclonic flow in the wake of the upper low moves across the area.

Enjoying the Jackson, WY webcam this morning Chris. We had it on our big TV for a while yesterday. Along with several others where there was ample snow falling. Helped set the holiday mood even though all we had here was some fog, drizzle and rain.

Would anybody by chance know where I could find a list of all warnings issued in Mo/Il this past year?

Are we looking at a mostly rainy day and evening today and tomorrow? Wanting to go enjoy some outside activities but thinking it might be a bad weekend for that..

Some of the soundings Sunday show some instability with very steep low level lapse rates on the backside of the low.

I think most of the rainy/stormy weather Saturday will be in the morning...although some redevelopment may take place near the Mississippi River during the afternoon.

Some of the soundings Sunday show some instability with very steep low level lapse rates on the backside of the low. I hadn't looked at any soundings but I kind of figured that given 850 temps falling to around -8*C and surface temps in the upper 30s. If parcels can get up into the DGZ there could be some "5 minute blizzards" on Sunday...or at least some decent bursts of snow.

Ive been calling for some flavor of mixed flurries/sprinkle... mixed rain/snow showers... trying not to be too specific for fear of spooking the masses. Im also trying to nudge some fellow forecasters downward on their temp forecasts. It is hard to imagine reaching mos values in the upper 40s with mostly cloudy skies and 850mb temps that are that cold.

I wonder if this person intended to post all these mping reports. Or did he/she toss the phone on the passenger seat and it landed on submit... and it keeps submitting.
