Seems to be a decent consensus building for some high snow totals tomorrow..I guess we'll see I fell for it yesterday....and maybe the storm before that....and maybe the storm before that......well, and maybe most every storm before THAT....but not this time....no sir eee bud. I will go out tomorrow morning and try and finish the chicken coop. .

NAM is pretty forward with the mid-level warm nose. Would be a tight squeeze between heavy snow/freezing rain. NAM has monster lift from the SFC to 300mb

Can someone pay the maps from the NAM and RAP for tomorrow? Hoping I'm in good shape in Waterloo. Got 2" today. Would like to make it to 4 or 5".

You can take a line from north Jeff CO border and shave off all of the snow north of that.....(insert Dr. Bombay laughter here) For the younger folks, a reference to the sitcom Bewitched. Ground outside the house is just wet...temp up to 30* 7 miles west of de soto. Be safe out there.

Wow... some of those soundings tomorrow are flirting right on the line between ZR+ and SN+... and isothermal...so if it is snow...it is likely to be heavy wet hamsters.
The 00z data so far is pretty impressive. Widespread 1-3 may not be enough. I need to look at bufkit cross sections to inspect for CSI... but the simulated radar sure looks like it.
One thing about ZR potential... it will be with borderline temps at the surface...so main impacts may be more to elevated surfaces.
One thing is certain... tomorrow could be a pretty narly day. Figures... I dropped a boat load of money on Blues tickets.

Today was kind of like thinking you are taking a bite of a chocolate chip cookie and instead it’s oatmeal raisin.
Hopefully tomorrow covers the grass!

The all important question again. Late AM flight and need to drive to the airport. Does it go? Does the drive to the airport from Mercy South area even make sense?

Same here - Looks like airlines are able to handle this. Only question is leaving early enough to avoid all the traffic mess...I am allowing plenty of time to get there.....We should be able take off before wave 2 hits....

Wow, thanks! I'll take 6-8" but man that cutoff to the south is still razor thin.

I foresee some very heavy sleet somewhere in that transition zone tomorrow as well. Models are holding on to the back edge of snow enough to give us all a taste by the time it’s done with.
