SPC issued a moderate risk / 15% hatched TOR down south. Talks of significant tornadoes. Pretty potent system!

Wife reports rain, sleet, rain, sleet, with some hamsters in Marissa. All snow at Page/170. Has been all morning.

Back to sleet and it looks like drizzle but it must be super small snowflakes 7 miles west of de soto. I am really surprised at how light it is right now with the way the radar looks.
Edit: Right at 1.5" of stuff. 1.25" new snow... .25" of various 'stuff' underneath.

Haven't had any sleet in Union that I'm aware of. Just a lot of mod- hvy snow. Flakes range from dimes to bigger than quarters. Tried to go to work early, couldn't make it up the first hill of 4 in the subdivision. How much snow did you get on wave 1? About 2

All lanes of I-55 are shut down in Ste. Genevieve county due to an accident involving a MODOT vehicle and tractor trailer. This is at the 165 mile marker.

Moderate snow at the airport (where of course my flight is delayed) I opted not to travel, after my flight was delayed first thing when I woke up. Still trying to determine if it's going anywhere...as it's 7 mins after its' revised departure time and I see no inidcation that it took off. Had it been delayed again, I would've missed the meeting for which I was traveling, therefore making the trip unncessary, so, I fixed the glitch before I got hosed.

I'm not sure it can snow any heavier than it is right now for Koll and I here in our subdivision in NE Waterloo.
