Heart of Freeburg it’s snowing as hard as I’ve ever seen it here. I’ve been living here since 2003. Absolutely gorgeous snow.

Just measured 1 new inch so far...been snowing here for a little over an hour. I think I may get 2-3 out of this part of phase 2...and another 1-2 from the rest later today and tonight. Accumulation on the northwest side of the shield has not been quite as efficient as I expected so far.

Amstilost, you must be getting the same back and forth snow size as us in Festus! Your description is as exact as us! Yep, back to heavy snow here, barely able to see the Hwy 800' away. Flakes not as big as earlier yet under the same radar returns basically.

Moderate snow at the airport (where of course my flight is delayed) I opted not to travel, after my flight was delayed first thing when I woke up. Still trying to determine if it's going anywhere...as it's 7 mins after its' revised departure time and I see no inidcation that it took off. Had it been delayed again, I would've missed the meeting for which I was traveling, therefore making the trip unncessary, so, I fixed the glitch before I got hosed.

heaviest snow I have seen here in a long time. I may have to go out and put she shovel to work, or... I may wait and use the blower we got last year after winter at a huge discount.

Is the energy south of 44 expected to lift north along 44 or just run parallel to 44 and south of it?

Keep going back and forth between sleet/snow mix and extremely heavy snow in N STG county. I'm just glad I got to see that for a little bit..so freaking heavy!

heaviest snow I have seen here in a long time. I may have to go out and put she shovel to work, or... I may wait and use the blower we got last year after winter at a huge discount. Blowers with adequate power are great for some snows and not for others. Tried mine this morning and no go. Hope the snowblower does better when it's all done. Good luck!
