Approaching 3” here now. Accumulating rapidly in OFallon, IL. We are in a great spot. Hardly any sleet fell.
I think we go 6+” easily

This is easily 2”+ an hour stuff. Just cleared half of snowboard off and it’s insane how fast it’s piling up.

Heavy snow downtown. 2.5" new snow at the enterprise center. Snow looks like it will shut down along and NW of 44 in one hour Looks like it should keep back building along 44 then we have the energy out across eastern Kansas latest hrrr has snow falling in the metro until midnight [br I asked that q earlier. Decided to chk the hrrr just now. It does appear that the energy back in Ks will bring us addl snowfall, but it will likely be a widespread area of light snow, alot like what we are getting in dardenne rt now...a basic persistent light snow area wide without any major bands of heavy snow. I will say, addl accums imby after noon to be 1 to 2 inches. A more powdery type of snow as this energy seems to be connected to a weak mid level vortex. Just my thoughts.

The debris lofting is 24,000 ft. Is that on the one in the middle of nowhere or the one to the SW of Alexandria? Also, sleet is winning the battle here the last half hour.

Except St. Pete they are surely getting crushed. You are correct tho. Altogether 6"+ along 44.

Yes rural area, SW of Alexandria after passing near DeRidder. I think it's been the ground for a while too. There's a few town out ahead of it so let's hope it dissipates.
