I feel for you wsc, we have had more action than chicago this year You guys got very lucky lol. That storm was weird. I just meant the last 2 weeks. I always have December in my mind as a winter month, but it really seems to be volatile. Having early cold shots in November makes it feel worse too. I’m still confident we will be tracking a lot from mid January to early February.

Really need some cooler weather for this weekend. Since waterfowl/goose season is subpar....again this year, going to head to deer camp in Greenfield this weekend. It'll be the first time this year using the Ravin crossbow.

Gfs is suppressing the energy next week but the gem is trying to spin something up now too. Not a big deal at the moment but a little something to watch for.

It's probably safe to post this. 2019 ends with 53.99" of precipitation. This brings the average for the last 10yr and 30yr to 44.03" and 41.51" respectively. The 2010's are the wettest decade on record and the trend of increasing precipitation since 1960 continues. The linear regression trend over the last 30 years is +0.25"/yr.

It gives parts of IN and OH a nice 1-2 punch; widespread 2 feet amounts from both storms.

Proud moment for me.
just finished the last run of 2019. Pushed out 643 miles since June. 720 including the pre-injury January miles.
Definitely hard in the beginning following recovery but I'm back to form it seems.
Glad to be up and at em again!
Have a Happy New Year everyone!

you can't get much more classic than the sensible wx that the euro portrays. On Monday, the temperature climbs to the mid 40s here in stl with moderate rainfall amounts, then by midnight, temperature is in the mid 30s and falling....by 6 am, stl has a temperature of 33 and the rain is changing to snow. Temperatures continue to fall throughout the day to the mid 20s by evening, then the snowcover helps temperatures drop to the mid teens overnight. That's the euro's depiction. I looked at the GFS, but while I see smoke, I don't see fire on the GFS just yet.

There’s a handful of GFS ensemble members that look similar to the euro for next week
