Has NWS updated any of their snow or ice laps for tomorrow yet?

Surprised nobody mentioned the 18z rgem.
It is really picking up on a mesoscale band that would drop several inches of snow for those in the northern and eastern metro.
That is the feature to watch if it’s going to work out for anyone around STL

Has NWS updated any of their snow or ice laps for tomorrow yet? Can’t get the ice map to update since last season.

NWS has held pretty steady with their snow maps for the last couple days now. I think they’re afraid to change it with all the uncertainty being shown in the models. So glad I don’t have to make the professional forecasts.

Haven’t been able to look at models......is current radar accurate with what modeling has shown recently?

Haven’t been able to look at models......is current radar accurate with what modeling has shown recently? I don’t know how to read the models. Hence my reliance on all the experts in this forum.

Certainly not an expert, but we need to wait until tomorrow morning and see where things stand. That's when the system will start pulling north and strengthening. The backside precep and any associated enhanced bands will be a nowcast thing

Snowstorm, let us know what the 18z Euro shows. It will be interesting tonight to watch the high res models come in and if they pick up on any banding

Just saw on Dave’s FB page that Betelgeuse may go supernova soon (from our point of view). Now that would be cool

I think there’s going to be some big snow busts up north and west. It’s probably the subtropical moisture feed of storms robbing the moisture

18z EURO. Not too shabby. Ya shows the metro getting clipped by the deformation zone pretty good. I think accumulations will be hard to come by thanks to low ratios and borderline temps but could still see an inch or so in the metro. More west and north

That is my prediction 1” or less should cover most of the metro pretty well. Most likely on the grass due to the warm temperatures. If we get a period of sleet that could change things
