The radar is pretty stout from rolla and Jeff city all the way down into Oklahoma. Once that main shield of precipitation gets here , it should stay going all afternoon. Temps are still well below freezing and the dew points are still in the low 20’s. The steady north East wind is limiting the advance now, but should be an asset this afternoon and continue to feed cooler dry air in which will hold temps down. I always look at the temps down south from Springfield tor rolla they are still 29-32 . Not a massive push of warmth.

That clipper energy Monday has sneaky written all over it. The atmosphere is going to be very cold so it won't take much moisture to kick off some accumulating snow. Snow liquid ratios will be sky-high if anything falls

Been out and about all morning. Luckily no road issues down this way. Just elevated areas iced over. I’m just west of Rolla.
