Decided to venture out for dinner with friends tonight. Roads in WashMO were all just wet. Sidewalks at the restaurant were also fine. My north-facing driveway was VERY icy when we got home. On a positive note, I had some of the best fried walleye I’ve ever had. It was amazing! If ever in WashMO, I highly recommend Tilted Skillet. Tried to go there a few weeks ago and we couldnt even get in the door! Really wanted to try it. If you don’t drink downtown Washington on a weekend night really isn’t that appealing. I doubt we would’ve gotten in had it not been “nasty” out. There was a fair crowd, but we didn’t have to wait for a table. Even got to watch the end of the Billikens game in the bar area. We may need to just plan our date nights on stormy nights. Seems to be the best time to go. 😂😂😂

I have a hard time picturing a snow bunny such as yourself in Miami. I know I couldn’t do it. My next vacation will probably be Vancouver. I’ll find snow one way or another We went to Vancouver (and Victoria) this summer and had a good time.

Power flickered pretty badly. Saw a transformer explode nearby. Not eerie like 2006, but it could’ve been a lot worse.

Are you in Streeterville? No, a bit north in Gold Coast. That video is facing Lincoln Park, with Lake Shore Drive to my back

Went out earlier this evening and estimated about 0.10" ice accumulation on trees in St. Peters. So technically the forecast from last night verified at my location.

I’ll find snow one way or another May I suggest somewhere stateside. Perhaps the Keweenaw Peninsula in the U.P. I here it’s especially nice from late November until late April.

My God I'm so sick of heavy rain, and if the GFS is right we do it again next weekend, for at least the 3rd weekend in a row. In January.

Had right around .05 of ice accretion on elevated surfaces. Bulk of what fell was when the temps hovered around the 31-32 degree mark. We’re up to 50 degrees in Desoto now.

Honestly this winter has been good still for snow removal and treatments. For a landscape company the best winter as we can still.do landscape work and building retaining walls and doing concrete work in between snows since its been so warm. I do feel bad for the southern and eastern folks but for the metro and northwest it has not been bad in my opinion. More like a deep south winter which is kind of nice since i hate the cold

I am telling you sometimes my area has huge differences. Im about to send you all to my house dang it lol The warm air had wedged into parts of St. Louis County about sunrise this morning. Lambert and Spirit were close to 50 while the other official site were closer to 40.
