My guess: 1.3" of snow at Lambert tonight/tomorrow, and 2.8" of rain next week. We will get .1 inches of snow and 4 inches of rain lol

Light rain/snow mix has broke out again in SPI. We received .27” liquid equivalent snow and yielded between an inch or two.
For the love of all that is winter, please can we have a 15:1 or 18:1 snowfall

Chris, when they added the WWA for JeffCo I wondered whether it was for snow in the northern part and just slick roads for Festus? Your map with the snow didn’t reach southern JeffCo so I just wondered if the WWA for Festus was for the dropping temps etc

Jeff co could see as much as 1" up by Meramec River...to a heavy dusting/half-inch south.

The only thing mine has seen since bought 3 years ago although it does do okay.

Current temperature map is a classic Spring storm set up. You have a cold core of temperatures that are very marginal surrounded by much warmer air on pretty much all sides. I mean look at Kansas City, it's is 46゚ there right now and in the low forties in Southern Iowa... Cold air advection alone will not get us down below freezing tonight.

We went to see Call of the Wild in Arnold and when we left at 3 you could tell the temp dropped and the wind made it feel worse and It was spitting! By the time we got back to Festus and hit Aldis it was the same without the spit! Glad to be home in the warm! Thanks Chris for the reply!

A lot of our early morning snow here in Bowling Green had melted away this afternoon, but a mix is coming down now with some big flakes at times. 35*

T 37 D 36 Both values rising into the evening. Tds are in the upper 20s across N MO...between the N wind and diurnal cooling, that should be enough for snow later this evening across much of the area.

Rain and snow mix temp 35 in wentzville. The transition has begun, should continue to go over to all snow in the next hour or so. The radar should continue to fill through out the evening hours. Temps should slowly drop overnight.

That Australia video was pretty cool but I kept waiting for the trees to start to sway. I would have thought the trees would sway more with that nasty of a downburst. Maybe the video just ended too soon.
