12z euro drops a couple inches of snow across the metro on Saturday.
If it happens in the early morning hours, could be a pretty interesting storm.

Guess no burning today. It’s a bit windy out. I was hoping to get some burning in too. Cleaning up my backyard and have lots of brush. But the winds are too much. With all the rain coming next week too, i guess itll have to wait.

Ok I have never seen humidity this low on my hime thermometer. It shows I have a current temp of 71 a dp of 15 with a relative humidity of 11 percent. Is that correct or is it reading wrong

Lambert is showing 71 with a DP of 17 and 13% RH. That.s nearly desert levels.
And with those numbers and a 20 MPH wind wouldn't take much to spark a brush fire

No sooner do I write that than I find out Wentzville and Central County Fire have sent a large number of units to assist Lincoln County Fire with a large brush fire on Tickridge Lane.

Yeah..like I said the number of cases in This country right now is in The thousands. Testing will confirm this as the numbers climb rapidly in coming days and weeks. The tdsting needs to happen for millions..not the 2000 so far. Sad. The testing cuts both ways... You’ll find a lot of people with mild cases making the mortality rate drop substantially. It’s running at like 4% in the U.S. but when the testing ramps up, you’ll see that percentage move a lot closer to the flu. the flu is .1%, this is likely near 1%. It will go down obviously. That's why we need more testing..so we know more precisely what the deal is with it.

The tdsting needs to happen for millions..not the 2000 so far. Sad. Didn't Italy have like a hundred cases just 2 weeks ago...now thousands? (Edit: I looked it up - 2/23/20 was 150, today 7375). I think you may be right, once the testing starts the numbers are going to skyrocket. There's probably been a lot of community transmission going on where people didn't know...ignorance is bliss. But I think WSC is right too, mortality rate is probably much lower in reality. South Korea was reporting 0.6% last I saw...which is still worse than the flu.

GFS has also been hinting at a displacement of the PV around mid month and even at times a full split with the main PV going into Quebec allowing for a much, much colder last 10 days of the month into the first week of April. Something to keep an eye on. May very well be in just the 'false Spring' stage with 'real Spring' not arriving till mid to late April.

Was actually able to walk around the yard today and yesterday. It was nice. Haven’t seen a dry ground all winter it seems.

My yard is finally walkable for the most part. Still quite squishy and soft in a few areas. It'll all be swampy again in 12 hours. Yay.

Yeah, I have an interview down there, so my flight is paid for. Seemed like a good time to fly the wife down and catch some Spring Training. Can’t complain too much, but I’m doing taxes and it’s not making me feel any better so I’m venting lol
