It can stop raining at anytime.
On a side note, and IL residents take note, if you haven’t started preparing yourself by stocking up on shelf stable food, water, ammo, guns, and the like, it is likely it will become increasingly difficult to do so in the near future. Chiraq suburbs have already started ordering shelter in place and an order for the rest of the state is probably coming shortly. Positive cases increased 80% yesterday with several more significant jumps expected.

A few things: MO Governor waived student teaching / internship requirements, so that's a load off. Line of storms moving through Farmington looks strong, but not necessarily severe. Thought I'd see an update here. I picked up my new Walther PPS yesterday and a couple boxes of ammo. Also ordered a side of beef. I'll sneak up the road 8 miles to pick it up when it's ready--as long as someone is there to get it ready. Chicago needs to figure out that there's a whole 'nother state down here that has some survival instinct.

Ya short term models don't favor metro and points north. But southern Mo seem good so far. Time will tell i guess

Quit drinking so no worries there. A little concerned about ammo. Only sitting at around a thousand rounds.

SPC updated the convective outlook and no major changes. What are they seeing? Or is it too late to say "sike"? EDIT: Helps to read the Disco... "...Ozarks to lower Ohio Valley... An ejecting low-amplitude shortwave trough and its broad, strong low-level jet is resulting in a favorable kinematic environment for organized severe storms over a broad region today. However, widespread areas of rain and clouds are slowing destabilization over a large part of the warm sector. Pockets of heating will eventually promote gradual destabilization over a portion of this region with additional storms expected to intensify along warm conveyor belt from eastern portions of the southern Plains into the lower MS Valley and OH Valley region. Large 0-1 km hodographs and 50+ kt effective bulk shear within a modestly unstable environment (1000-1500 J/kg MLCAPE) will support potential for supercells and bowing line segments capable of damaging wind, tornadoes and hail."

Might be starting to get a little too late in the day to destabilize the atmosphere sufficiently for strong storms. But I am starting to get some hazy sun coming through.

That’s where everyone else is getting there info from.

Still stupidly low on testing..it's an embarrassment it's that horrible. Some counties are reporting the ability to only test 10 cases a week. The government is a slow moving behemoth that takes a while to get going. States are afraid to spend their money without any promises of reimbursement. So, we get this response.

Wind has picked up substantially in the last 10-15 minutes. Whatever that signifies.
And SE Nebraska and Southern Iowa have a tornado watch.

This is the issue. Well, hope you get better. Sounds kinda shady..just for 24 hrs after no fever? If he really thinks you have it..he should have said 2 weeks. Jeez..this is one reason why this country will be hit hard.

As I understand it, FDA regulations require test kits to be single sourced which has drastically affected the ability to aquire them en masse.
