Tornado warned storm near Mountain Home, Arkansas. Is that heading towards southern Missouri or is the atmosphere zapped?

I have worked 24 hours of overtime over the last 10 days. No days off. It is exhausting. I don't worry about being sore, but all of the customers who come in with their entire family. They also make no attempt to stay 6 inches away let alone 6 feet. I have even had 2 people touch me on purpose over the last week. Not cool. I do love the questions though; Why don't you have toilet paper, this isn't the "! POOPY ! yourself virus"? Do you sell ventilators? (Yes, that happened and the elderly woman was serious) Do you have any milk? (while standing in front of the completely empty milk section). My only entertainment for the next few weeks.

Everyone in CA ordered to basically stay home. Good luck with that.

I wonder if there will be a bailout for the pro sports, movie companies, and other forms of mass entertainment?
Pro sports alone is a multi billion dollar industry not to mention the legal sports gambling that is now on hold as well.
IL has one of their largest revenue streams shut down as well in regards to the video gaming machines. They were literally millions to some municipalities alone.
The economic impact i can’t quite wrap my head around yet.

Everyone in CA ordered to basically stay home. Good luck with that. The majority will. But there’s always those few assholes with no regards to others. My mantra this week has been that I have no doubt I or my family will survive the virus. But, I don’t want to be responsible for knowing I gave the virus to someone that didn’t have my same resiliency. So, I’ll try to stay home as much as possible and drastically limit my contact with others. Why, because I’m not an ! MEAN PERSON ! that thinks this is a conspiracy. Well, not in the manner that I don’t believe it exists or isn’t serious.

IMHO, There are some sports, and most entertainment, that need to purge and do the natural selection, they have been making billions off the backs of the honest Americans for years....In my best Soup Guy Accent, "No bailout For You"!!!! Im only ok with Christmas if it comes with a foot of snow. Otherwise, I would rather listen to country music sitting by a pool with a case of beer by my side.

AO is looking to go negative. 1st time since mid December. EPO looks to go strongly negative and then recover to positive territory. NAO trending negative as well.
All NYC needs right now is a Nor’Easter.
Based on my amateur opinion, an Easter snow is quite possible.

I don't know much about gardening, but I planted a couple of lilac bushes last fall and they have some nice green buds on them. With the cold temperatures coming overnight is there any need to cover budding shrubs?

I worked a double yesterday and so today is my first real day off in this "new normal" and I suddenly find myself wondering what I need to do. what can I do???. so weird!
To our regulars... I dont mind the mixed conversation in here when weather is sleepy... we just need to puvot back to weather when needed. You all know that.. we do it anyway.
I have imagine more eyeballs will find their way to this blog now that people are basically stuck at home. Be mindful of the positive impact we can have on folks whonare looking for some positive conversation... or at least some fun conversation about ANYTHING that can take their minds away from the current situation.
Good luck to all and be safe and healthy. I may spin up a new blog thread this weekend...

Most of our forsythia buds got taken out last week.

For those looking for TP, an easy alternative for those not on septics, flushable wipes. You use less and most importantly, you can still buy them.

Why didn’t/don’t you go through a mobile testing site? I was told the only one available is the one in chesterfield and they won’t do it because my fever wasn’t high enough consistently Yes theres criteria that you have to meet. I do believe your dr shld hv said self isolate for 15 days...not until your fever free. You treat all viruses the same so whether you test positive is moot. Just rest and have a family member who does not live with you or a friend not in your household get you anything you need.

Unfortunately my job is requiring me to report to work Monday. Only way I get off is if I have a positive test.
