Reed Timmer's car just got absolutely annihilated by hail on his facebook live I stopped watching right before it happened and had to go back and watch. His car ended up looking like a golf ball from all the dents

I mean, is he still able to get the type of auto insurance that includes hail at this point? Or was he blacklisted (if that's even a thing in the business) a long time ago?

Tomorrow certainly has the potential to be a high ceiling event but it also has several mitigating factors that could lead to a bust. Some of the soundings pulled from the warm sector show poor low level lapse rates/3km cape. Morning convection could also put a damper on things although it certainly didn’t in 2011

This may sound kind of strange...but my yard is getting pretty dry and dusty in this part of High Ridge. I only got about 5 drops of rain in the Wednesday event and it doesn't look like anything here today. Hopefully tomorrow and Sunday night will come through.

18z nam is very close to dropping heavy snow across the southern metro Monday morning.
Several gefs ensemble members have been showing a period of heavy snow for parts of the metro during that time as well.
It’s a long shot, but if that secondary low tracks right and bombs a bit, then I could see it snowing and being 36 degrees.

The set-up coming up is perfect for giving us a major widespread snow event.
If we had even a decent system come out of the SW it would definitely have a chance to an historic snow producer through our region

Happy Easter to all. Celebrate where/how you can. We're having lunch, then driving to see at least see our twin niece/nephew in their driveway. It's been too long.

And on a side note, I gave up Facebook for Lent. I'm thinking about giving it up for non-Lent, too. Go out of your way to be kinder and a little more understanding than normal. It's not hard. Peace out.

Looks like two tornadoes were on the ground in and around Monroe, LA just a little bit ago. The radar sigs showed two debris balls on the two. Let’s hope everyone will be safe!
