Brought the potted stuff into the garage and covered the vegetables. Everything else is on its own

Low 60’s, sunny and a breeze. Mowing is much more tolerable under these conditions. Enjoy the day.

Looks like a very active pattern for the middle of the country coming up. CPC highlighted the area for flooding potential in the 8-14 day outlook

Wife went to Lone Elk Park this afternoon. She said it was such a gorgeous day and she didn't care that it was bumper to bumper traffic moving at 1 mph.

So Chris did they say when you guys can all be at the studio again?

Nothing new to report in that regard.

So Chris did they say when you guys can all be at the studio again? Nothing new to report in that regard. The new Public Health Order in St. Louis County would suggest that anyone in the studio would need to be wearing a mask starting May 18th unless they were by themselves in an "enclosed area" or has a medical reason preventing wearing of a mask. It doesn't define enclosed area or what such medical conditions might be. Not sure how workable that would be given the studio setup.

Only 1 news anchor in the studio at a time. We have multiple studios so each anchor is assigned to a studio. It has workes pretty well.

Is everything else robotic now where the director/producers/technicians are in a separate room that is enclosed?

Most of the rest of the off air staff is working from home these days. Only essential technical crew is in the building. Control room is pretty isolated. Over all, it is about as efficient, safe and still workable solution as you can get and still be on air. The station has done a good job minimizing the potential for exposure. You can only do so much...we have to still be able to get on air every day since getting information to the public is definitely an essential function.

My low was 34.88 at 5:52 a.m. I'm sleeping late these days but pots and buckets are off of the plants. Hopefully that's the last night. maybe the patio plants can go back out soon.

Looks like a rapid reversal in the cool pattern will emerge into next week...GFS builds a massive 588dm+ ridge across the region which would suggest highs well into the 80s.
