Interesting pattern with the cutoff low this weekend. Could be some really heavy downpours underneath it. Also pretty cool how it interacts with the tropical system after it moves on.

To go with pandemics, swarms of locusts, and killer hornets I now give a "Solar Lockdown."

CFS is looking fiesty in terms of severe weather in the not too distant future Been noticing the jet stream looks favorable for severe weather across the middle of the country as we get into late May. Keeping my expectations in check for now

Suddenly Monday is looking cloudy, breezy with temps in the 50s. Yea if those lows come together and hang up over the Great Lakes like the gfs is showing, the majority of the week is going to be quite cool.

Decided last evening that today was the best day for smoking a brisket. Been on almost 6 hours... pic is from 5 hours into the cook.

To go with pandemics, swarms of locusts, and killer hornets I now give a "Solar Lockdown."Crap, and I was just planning my move to live in a unabomber hut above the Arctic Circle to avoid the murder hornets and the plague. Now I have to worry about cosmic rays.

In this day and age, they have almost instantaneous numbers on viewing, clicking, etc. They know more about you than...you.

Looks good! Do you like the new pit? Love it! Best 500 bucks I've ever spent! I splurged and went with the GMG WiFi enabled one. I can do everything except turn it on from outside my home network. If I could figure out the VPN for my home network, I could turn it on too. I can even program cooking temps based on time or internal meat temp. Most importantly, monitor it from afar, like the grocery store or the other places I used to be able to go to.
