Tropical-like downpours here in Perryville with some close lightning strikes. What an interesting system...check out the tornado warnings in NE TX on some NW moving storms just like you’d see during a land falling tropical system. Definitely is muggy out.

Those gnats have appeared again the last couple days with the humidity. Last year I was trying to weed, had deet on, but it didn’t phase them. Between them, mosquitoes & carpenter bees I can hardly be outside anymore.

My grandpa always said if the leaves in a tree turn upside down, it’s gonna rain ‘cause they want the underside to get the rain.

After expecting a very wet week this last week......literally only have a had .75” and that came Friday morning in a 3 hour period. Really expected to not get all my clients mowed this week and accomplished that without any issues at all.

I had three or four rumbles of thunder about 3 PM. But if we got any rain it wasn't much.

Finally. I wasnt going to say anything earlier but a ffw does make sense. These slow moving storms are going to spell trouble where it is raining now.
