A couple patches of frost in the creek valleys this morning where the temp was 36-38. Patchy frost around Brighton too...not limited to valleys, but sheltered areas. Forgot to check the temp before I left for work...but definitely fired up the stove! |

Right now I think the odds of Gamma or 92L (which could become Delta in the next couple days) affecting us is pretty low. But the steering flow in the GOM may remain weak causing Gamma to drift and loiter for awhile. If it catches the steering flow just right it could eventually get pulled north especially if it gets help from the potential development of 92L. Either the GOM looks to get a active in terms of tropical activity again.

Do I spy some bright banding on LSX? getting closer... Yep...definitely a melting layer on radar earlier, guessing around 7500ft or so based on the distance from the radar. No doubt a late-fall like day today...and the undulatus clouds were awesome looking. I was out building a duck blind near Pere Marquette all day and was too busy to think about getting pics of them. |
