I'm going with 11-12" for Belleville today. I agree...the same for here. There is noster lift organizing right now and moving NNE along and East of the river. It's already evident on radar. Man This is straight nuts. I think parts of SWIL will get 15". Probably our by Mt. Vernon and North of there

Just got back from checking on the chickens. 2 eggs. I averaged out to 1.75". A fresh board is in place for an accurate total after we get Kaboomed. I had a low of -1* this morning and now sitting at 1*. 20/1 seems low with these temps and the lift that is heading our way. Moderate snow, small flakes, vis 3/8-1/2 mile 7 miles west of De Soto.

The deeper lift has reached POTOSI AND FESTUS.
WILL REACH ARNOLD IN 20 MINS. THEN ST LOUIS BY 10AM.

Heavier echoes across Central AR are starting to pull more N/NW as the mid-level flow backs ahead of the negatively tilted trof. That's going to plaster us later this afternoon!

Bands of 35 DBZ radar returns are popping up on composite over SEMO moving almost due North.
Festus should be seeing snow increasing to straight blankets right now

Some accumulating snow is looking likely Wednesday, but it remains to be seen if we can get the system to pull together and lift north like the NAM shows. If it does a large swatch of the CWA could have 2 feet on the ground by late week

Awesome, that is the evidence I was looking for earlier. Paducah radar exploding. Looks like some convection east of Cape. "I'm too excited to sleep" from Christmas commercial long ago.
