After Pfizer #2 I had about 6 hours of fatigue. Sore arm at the 12 hour mark.

Shot #2 is in the arm. Now I wait to see what new limbs or horrible affliction will beset me in the next 24 hours. I felt OK the day of the shot, but the next day had mild flu-like ache in joints and lower back...and I was in a bit of a "fog". Literally moved my computer bag out of the way to open the garage door and drove to work without it. Lasted pretty much the whole day. Next day was fine.

NAM still looks supportive of supercells Tuesday. SPC says weak instability could be the limiting factor. Usually is this time of year

Wife and I received 2nd shot of Pfizer last Thursday. Very mild reactions with slightly sore arm at injection point and wife slept much longer than usual that night. That was it!
Grateful that is over for now and hope they have a better system in place for the booster shots if/when needed.

GF got moderna. Nausea, vomiting, fatigue and loss of appetite. Also has a fever. Hoping it passes in 24 hours. She says this is how she felt for 4 or 5 days New Years '19/'20-- a couple months before covid was "here". This thing had to have been running wild well before the gov't said anything last winter.

I swore up and down that I had it last March... haven't been that sick in ages. But they wouldn't test me back then and subsequent antibody tests were negative. So who knows. I am in decent shape today... just feel like I have bricks tied to my arms and legs... but nothing too serious. Was great to sit in the sun for a few hours.

I had dose 1 of Moderna yesterday. I got chills, profuse sweating, dizzy, faintness, etc. from minutes 20-25 after the shot. Full disclosure...I have this reaction to many shots so I was half expecting it this time as well; it's just usually right after the shot so the delayed onset did take me by surprise this time. After that...pretty much nothing except for a sore arm today. I hope my body is busy making antibodies. Side note...the mRNA technology is nothing short of astonishing. I can see it being a game changer for prevention of disease for decades to come.

A little food for thought: 1) Those who present pretty strong reactions after they receive the dose(s) probably have had it in the past. The people I know that had Covid-19, and get the vaccine are not fairing as well as those who have never been exposed. 2) While not confirmed, as there was some serious denial / cover-up happening, I'm fairly certain that the virus around here in the Fall of 20 (probably as early as October). People were coming down with something unexplained, but the numbers were't anything to scoff at, so it seemed to be nothing more than the famous ER/Urgent Care diagnosis, "It's probably just a virus."

there was a strong type A virus going around late 19 early 20. the flu vaccine that year missed this strain, and it knocked a lot of ppl off their feet for a few weeks. most dr dont really test for virus and im not even sure theres a reliable test. i think sometimes they just guess. but since theres really no treatment for viral infections, you get sent home to drink fluids and bed rest with the anticipation of starting to move around in a couple weeks. but by the same token, as in all cases, it seems likely that there were probably some undetected isolated cases of covid prior to when the media reported the first official case.

Tomorrow afternoon still looks to feature big looping hodographs and high helicity values, but the lack of instability should prevent much if any convection around the area

I for one find it difficult to believe that a virus so explosively contagious was only isolated on the global scale 6 months after it "originated." With today's intercontinental travel and extremely crowded cities, I'm just not buying it. Not long ago there was a publication that identified antibody markers in blood samples from Italy back in September 2019. That was a published, peer reviewed medical journal. I would bet it was quite prevalent by Oct/Nov. 2019 but that's just me.
I really don't want to start anything here that would turn political, just sharing my thoughts. Sadly, my wife's grandma and grandpa both passed away from it within 10 days of each other back in late Jan./early Feb. They were extremely careful and we really don't have a damn clue how it happened. We followed all the rules and they were in nearly total quarantine the entire time.

I can potentially see tomorrow being a marginal-type severe risk along and primarily north of I-70. But it's just hard to get higher risk severe convection around here with dewpoints in the low/mid 50s
