1.2" for the final average in Northern Wildwood. A lot has melted since then. Less on the grass like Chris mentioned. I measured on my car. An over achiever for April...I was getting so excited when the hamsters were falling! Arguably the biggest snowflakes I've seen in my life and definitely the biggest snowflakes of this past cold season! That brings my snow total up to 13.1" for the season! 😊❄️

1/4 to 3/8 mile vis, Everything is white except concrete pad. It was slushing up 15 minutes ago but intensity lightened up some. I have 1.25" on my back deck railing. If only this was March.

EURO looks nasty in the midwest next week. Noticed that as well. Upper levels looked very supportive of severe weather

EURO looks nasty in the midwest next week. That makes sense... lol. I'm closing this one out at 1.2 inches... bringing my "snow season" total to 10.4 inches. And... I have to say... I'm really happy with how it played out. It might have been the best forecast of the season actually lol.

We are hoping the sun doesn't come out and melt off our insulation blanket for the cabbage, swiss chard, broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, Korabi, and lettuce. Any advice from some landscapers or seasoned gardeners would be appreciated. We are mainly concerned with the lettuce. The other stuff appears pretty hearty.

That last band was so heavy my satellite lost signal for a few mins. Never had that happen with snow.
Calling an inch here in Perryville. It’s since shut down and the wind is blowing chunks out of the trees. Definitely won’t forget this one.

concrete not even dried out yet- going to be a heavy frost tonight. May be good... a heavy frost is better than a dry cold with the latent heat release.

Frosty. Actually I had to scrape my car before I came to work at 1030 last night. Thick frost out there now.
Freeze warning for tonight also.
Also, pop the champagne! We broke the record low this morning. 31 so far, could drop another degree or 2.

I bottomed out at 28 in st.peters classifying as a hard freeze, cars were frozen by 11 last night, and this morning the trees look absolutely terrible, all my neighborhood looks like limp spinach. I am not certain the impacts this will have on vegetation in the long term, meaning will they lose their leaves and grow new or what with it being so late in the season. I am not as worried tonight about the trees maybe scrap 32 degrees but most of metro St. Louis should stay above freezing.
