SigTor values are currently sitting around 4 across the area with VTP (Violent Tornado parameter) values around 5
Both those are high values

I will further blast the NWS radar, I have gone 20 minutes without an update. Maybe I feel I am entitled to bitch about this because (a), it's tax money funded, and (b), it used to be a lot better than it is now. Unless I still don't understand how to use it, that is surely possible.

Unless I still don't understand how to use it, that is surely possible. I don't think you're misunderstanding anything. It works okay on a Tuesday morning when there isn't much weather going on across the country. It's like they were surprised when Adobe flash was deprecated, despite that being telegraphed well in advance, and they are saying this is the best we can do right now

Has there been too much shear closer to the metro? Seems to just be tearing these storms apart. They can't reach the height that's needed for further development.

What do you all think of that futurecast radar mode on the Fox2 weather app?

But what about the storms behind that frontage line? That's the one we've been waiting on. I believe that is the cold front right? Storms have formed a line from Hannibal, Mo to Springfield, Mo.

I just wonder what ingredients were missing today. Honestly across most of the enhanced outlook area Pretty good performance so far. Remember the nocturnal nature of the threat was well advertised. Might be wise to observe for a awhile.

But what about the storms behind that frontage line? That's the one we've been waiting on. I used frontage wrong. I meant the front line from soco down south

The last time a supercell took that path (the southern cell) it was a bad situation. If it holds together look the hell out once it comes off the Ozark plateau.
