I'm cozy in my office watching my webcams from a TV. Each camera is like a flood light with a HiDef video. It feels like cheating because I don't have to put on a pair of pants and a warm coat to wait for a flake to fall in my glove lol. But it's a great security system to have. I have kids that need to be monitored on a busy village in our neighborhood. Congrats. For what? I'm actually about to put on pants and walk outside now. Looks like we're all snow buddy.

It looks like the push south to change over is occurring from northern Jeffco toward the south and west as far as rain/snow radar. I have some heavy yellow returns about to come into west central Jeffco so I'm hoping this could be my changeover coming up.....or not.

Yes sir...I've got some missles mixing in. Coming in from an easterly fetch and hitting my east facing garage door. Still at 35*.

I see the end of the shield is approaching. It still isn't all snow here and what is falling wouldn't be very impressive even if it were snow. Sigh..

Still nothing but light rain and drizzle. Absolutely epic bust potentially unfolding for the Northeastern 2/3rds of the metro. Because over half the modeled QPF has already fallen. And the models have come in further West with the major lift for overnight and they shut down the chance for accumulating snow for the Northern half of the CWA by 4-5AM. The HRRR has been a complete embarrassment. That is the forecasted precip type from ONE HOUR AGO. It's been showing all snow in the immediate metro since 10-1030pm

LOL, I have no idea what I have done to you. You seem to have it out to for me though. You called me buddy several times tonight, the first time I said buddy back, I'm childish. Whatever Bro. I still enjoy the hell out of this forum. My mistake was reporting real world data. I will go back to keeping to myself.

I’m still trying to figure out how the hell I got sleet. Surface temperature is 34°F. Every sounding I’ve looked at shows below freezing just above the surface with no indication of any warm pocket. It’s almost as if there’s a pocket of warner air higher up that’s not being picked up somehow. Very strange.

Apparently there is a 100% of 3-5" of snow tonight still. It better start snowing for real and pretty darn soon or that forecast is a goner. (And now it's raining again) What a joke.

It’s really struggling to stay snow. Yes there are massive flakes but still raining also. Get a little burst of snow then it switches back to more rain. Nothing is gonna stick like this.

I'm sorry everyone. This is crazy.
It's 2AM(08:00z)UTC....
The NWS forecasted an areas wide change over between 02:00-04:00z. UTC
Are we all truly just off the charts bias?

Welp this has been one of the more frustrating storms in recent memory.
Sleet now, with maybe 0.25" of wet frozen -stuff- outside. No way we're making it to 4" by morning l. If we don't have a changeover to 100% snow SOON, I doubt we exceed 1" based on radar.

Snow is finally mixing in. Seeing the same on our side. I mean, both our locations should be in sync by now anyway. Tiny glimpses of hope and then the sky farts on us. Who’s the patron Saint of this sh**? We need a miracle. Or…. Maybe the NWS sees something we don’t. This has the potential for inch/hr rates.
