Im not even going to try to measure, but what a storm. All I know is a ton of snow. And I have a ton of shoveling to do.

I'm on the bus to go do snow removal for the metrolink.
The bus is moving better today than it was yesterday.
It just rolls over this dust with no problems

Heavy salt shaker here in Ballwin. Do not like the looks of the radar I woke to. Totally eye balling it here but would estimate 3" of new snow but the winds are making that a very unscientific estimate. I do have a drift on the patio that is at least 18" from catching everything blowing off the roof. Radar returns lead me to believe that dry line is going to drop through here well before noon.

Looks like around 3" fell since it started just after midnight. NWS says another 3-5 for JeffCo today before it ends.

It was sleet all night in Perryville, and was beginning to transition when I left at 545 this morning. Drove through some really nice hamsters in the transition zone.
If you look at the radar you can see a renewed northward push of energy and precip near Fort Smith, AR. That will help the show go on most of the day, especially for the southern portions.

The 12Z HRRR continues the trend of keeping accumulating snow along and East of the river all day.
Easily another 5-7" in SWIL.
Still calling for 6-8" far SE 1/3rd.
At the Fairview metro it's snowing moderately again

The joy of a Golden Retiever and her ball pouncing and plowing thru the snow can put a smile on your face so fast. Flakes slightly larger, actually visible instead if just tiny. I put out a pretty deep box last night (about 12” tall) and it has 4.5” in it. No idea if some extra has blown in or out so take that for what it’s worth.
Chris Renier at Arnold Denny’s looked like he shoveled about 3-4” deep on his last broadcast and he’s in the open parking lot on the hill.

We are definitely getting high ratios so 3-4" more would be like 0.20" liquid

I’m around 2” of total “stuff” here at home a few miles East of KFAM. Hearing reports of freezing rain at KFAM and sleet, it was all sleet here

I’ve had a really nice band of moderate snow the last hour in earth city right around the I70 and I270 corridor. It’s just piling up nicely. Roads are a mess, they never really got them cleaned good during the lull last evening. It’s going to take a day or so get things looking decent . We plowed twice yesterday and are about to start our second plowing of wave 2. We’re starting to get some monster piles from our wheel loaders stacking it high.

Looks like we have quite a few inches in Arnold. I'll try to get a measurement soon, but I can already see some drifts forming.
15* and a steady snow falling. Cant ask for much more than that!

Any side or rural roads that didn’t get the first round of sleet off yesterday are going to be a disaster come tomorrow night. Itll be a sheet of ice once a little top layer melts down with some sun.

Had 2" on the ground at 10pm, add the new 3ish inches, ending storm total around 6 would seem very reasonable. Not the 8-12 that was wishcast, but at the low end of forecast. Regardless, it does look much nicer outside today than yesterday and much more smoothed over.
