Can anyone verify that there was an EF5 tornado recently. Research shows last one was 8 years ago, but I just seen a post that EF5 drought is over but nothing else, no story, no official NWS link.

Something around the 20th-22nd time frame screams severe weather outbreak for much of the space of the US from the Plains to west of the Appalachians. Temps in the 80s just ahead of it as it passes.

Dusting of light snow on grassy surfaces here.
Radar looks amazing....
Yet all of the models show the snow completely dissolving the next few hours then reforming well SE of the immediate metro.
Brutal

Some coating in st.peters but really for being under decent band for a while pretty underwhelming. Chric forecast spot on we may scrap an inch before the sun melts it all. Eyeball Id say half inch so far

And that's all she wrote only a few flurries left. 19.7 for the season total imby. I know not the greatest winter for the area but not awful.
Now lets get on with spring. I would be curious to see a map of total snow for the winter across the bistate.
I really feel for the folks in rockford il. They only had like 16 and they are normally 33 inches. So in the scheme of average we are not that bad. Im sure the snow bunnies up there are bummed.

I've got a ½“, if that, in far NE St. Peters. Street isn't even what I would call wet - maybe a bit damp in spots. And nothing falling.

Shakes Hand: Well Chris, great job on this one. Looks like your forecast verified wonderfully all things considered. We picked up almost an inch about a half to 3/4ths of one and it snowed pretty decently for a couple quick moving bands. Was actually surprised what did make it as most models dried everything up once it got south of I-44/I-70, obviously a bit too aggressively. Great job on the forecast!
