The fact that these storms are blowing up over or even slightly north of our earlier storms is also quite interesting inside this chilled airmass.

Stopped as quick as it ended up I’m on the very north of eureka and just got skimmed by what radar showed as the storm. Honestly surprised I got anything from radar

Quite a bit of rain just south of I-70. On top of this morning and the past few days I would think the Meramec and Big Rivers will be going up to near or above flood. Missouri might get a bit of a rise, too.

This sucker trains all the way to the MO/KS border near Joplin, MO. HRRR and NAM did an excellent job with handling today's convection and timing as well. Bravo! Looks like a lot of cancelled or suspended BBQs and slow Schnucks stores. Good thing as I'm heading to work soon.

Oh almost every Spring forecast he does he always likes to talk about a sharp cool snap that comes in May when the Blackberries are in bloom or fruiting. It was just a tad late this year. Usually warms up pretty quickly right after but not always.

Last check here was 1.8" storm total. A much needed soaking rain. Hopefully the farmers were able to get in the fields and get seeds in...looks like another stormy stretch on the way next week.

Mascoutah received 1.70” of rain today. We have a lot of wet ag fields with standing water, that may need replanting.
