Deck has almost 3/4" and steady light to moderate snow in Chesterfield.
Also... Rosie appears to be terrified of snow đ±. She saw it and ran under the table in the livingroom!

Sidewalks and side roads covered. A little over 1".
Definitely snow on snow in November in many spots here.
Truly amazing.
Currently heavy snow with large flakes.
Nothing compared to a few days ago when it was the heaviest snow I've ever seen.
But this is amazing.
I can't believe how fast everything is covered in white.
Super wet snow

It's pouring baby hamsters. I can't believe it.
This band looks to be lifting North quick.
Interstate 64 in Illinois has to be getting pummeled right now.
Its just pouring these huge wet globular flakes clumped together.
Looks like some really heavy snow moving through western St Charles county now

On the wood ramp into my shed have 2" thanks to the last 30 mins of heavy wet glop.
The grass is roughly the same.
Concrete is an inch of very water logged glop.
But it sure is pretty glop.
The snow has lightened up to an even wetter lighter snow.
There is a lot of dripping.
This is all I expect we will see accumulation wise here because of melt and compaction.
But that's ok.
This really hits home for me how amazing the 6-8" we got a few days ago was.
Enjoy everyone

Looks like the subtle TROWAL is working out nicely for the N/W Metro...some 30dbz returns out that way. Not much banding to speak of, but some heavier snowfall rates for sure with that.
I'll go out in an hour to measure the storm total. Ground is pretty well covered here.

Not too bad. Light dusting to maybe 1/4 inch. Still lightly coming down. Might pick up a bit more.
It wasn't enough. I want much more now. Haha

'Looks' like 1.5" of compacted, melting snow. I will take it. I feel like crap still so only a 'visual' report. Any locals close have similar #'s 7 miles west of De Soto. Temp is 33*, it probably won't be around too long.

Okay, so after the wife got up I told her (actually, I asked nicelyđ) if she could step out and measure the snow on the deck railing before it melted off. "Anything for weather accuracy." she says.đđ„°đ„°đ„° 'Officially' 1.75" on the deck railing. She obviously is feeling much better. Just a persistent cough.

We all in st.charles, warren, Lincoln, and franklin counties likely had 2 to 4 inches that actually fell but compacted and melted quickly.
However maybe our snow luck will be ok this year, as the time of day was perfect otherwise nothing would of stuck with temps around 32 to 35 during the day.
So all and all I call this first widespread snow a win for the area, as I believe pretty much the entire area has seen at least a ground covering by November 15th which is a solid start to the cold season no matter how you cut it.
Now I expect a warmer at least half of december as I would think things would have to reload after the artic plunge the end of this week.

I got up abt 530 and eyeballed an inch. As always with snows like this, it has completely melted on my front yard as my house faces south while all my other neighbors on the culdesac have retained their snow cover so far. I certainly did not get 2 to 4 inches of snow here as another poster stated. Perhaps enough moisture was there for that amount, if it was colder, but temperatures were borderline and the ground really is still warm, so accumulations did not approach that range. It was a good mood snow that brought 1 to 2 inches, just as Chris predicted. I do know traffic was slow and there was a fatal accident but not sure yet if weather was a factor in that accident.

I'm in downtown St. Louis. There's nothing on the ground or trees here though it could have already melted off of course. I could tell the areas that got hit hard Saturday from western clinton and st clair counties. Many areas still had at least 2+ inches of snow on the ground even though some of that could have been some new snowfall. At home ( Salem ) it's all gone and once I got west of Fairview Heights by about 5 miles nothing there either.

Going with 1.5â in Arnold. Tough to get a good measurement with all the compacting and melting.
Season to date total is up to 4.75â

Large scale pattern looking pretty mild overall next week into early December with a -PNA developing and the vortex lifting out.
If the pattern that's developing this week re-emerges later in the winter...look out. Very impressive blocking pattern across AK and the high latitudes of N America. This would be an absolutely frigid pattern in January or February.

1.5â was total here.
7.5â for the season. I feel good about breaking double digits by Christmas but It also would shock me if my season total ends at 8â.

Maybe 1/2" of heavy wet slop this morning in Edwardsville, woke up to a rain/snow mist coming down. Nice to see frozen precip in November at least, maybe we'll get a shot at some decent snows this year.

I had right at an inch this morning in Perryville. Must have been an isolated southern band, as there was next to nothing just north of town and up through Ste. Gen.
