Rain / Snow mix just outside Ste. Gen city limits Agreed. Mix with more snow falling than rain. Some sleet too but temp is at 34. It’s coming , good observations reported from south and south east of here.

From the Poplar Bluff police Department: he roads are currently very slick with multiple vehicles getting stuck or having issues getting around the city. If you do not have to be out, please stay home. This will assist MoDOT crews so they can work to get the roads clear.

This is why you never freak out after model runs when a system is on the doorstep/here.

pretty amazing video out of cgi on fb. Won't share here, mainly because I don't know how, but it's definitely accumulating down there. Large adult rabbits falling out of the sky. Daughter Facetimed me earlier. Big 'uns. Piling up.

Still raining in Festus at 39 deg Amazing. I live across the street from Cnagel. Right off 55/61 exit south of Festus. Elevation must be playing a factor.

We are in town off 55 and A I would say hang in there for just a few....the rain/snow radar still has me as rain but it is pure snow. I would guess it is close, say maybe Hwy 61 by the old Laddie Boys restaurant.

We might need to list everyone's elevation like an ice storm now. This reminds me of a snowstorm that killed rolla in 2010 but did nothing to STL

Sitting here looking down on 55/70 & a row of electric trucks passed heading south. From the sound of reports from south of here, they made be needed.

This reminds me of a snowstorm that killed rolla in 2010 but did nothing to STL While Rolla is further west, I think it's remarkable that areas due south and southeast of St. Louis, like Poplar Bluff and Cape Girardeau are having traffic problems with people getting stuck per the police departments, while it's raining here.

While elevation is a factor, there isn't that much difference. I think lift is playing a more significant factor in this thing. The lift will be here soon.

Just checked the cameras at the Farm in Vienna Illinois, it’s 33* and about an inch + on the ground and moderate snow. Snowed hard enough to knock out the Starlink. Can’t remember if I have the snow heater on auto, I’ll know in a bit, if the WiFi cameras come back up...lol
