I’m jealous! Was supposed to go to Spring Training in 2020, but we all know how that worked out. Hoping to go next year. We're looking forward to it, but we failed to consider the WBC when we planned our trip. Should get a good look at upcoming talent though. Also looking forward to some sand time after all the double-digit busts we've seen this winter, lol! My parents are going to the game today. I am very jealous of them.

Looking at the soundings on the RAP, looks like in SPI a changeover might occur around 2-3pm for a couple hours of junk.

Clouds just off the deck are starting to scream out of the north...here comes the LLJ and strong backside winds. RAP showed a strong pressure fall/rise couplet crossing the river around the lunch hour. Almost a bubble high look to the pressure field.

Things are about to get weird in the metro. Lightning showing up with expanding convection spreading up from the south... and CC showing some very low values now in those heavier returns. I expect we are going to get some small hail, sleet and grossly slushy snow bombs as those pockets pass through STL over the next few hours.

lol, gfs has 50 inches of snow in NE and KS next week. We get 2 or 3! Lots and lots to sort out next week. Lots. Nice that all models show strong high pressure/significant cold air building in Canada/Upper Midwest. The gfs is cutting that low off, while the ggem is likely overly progressive. Legitimate potential for a true winter storm in the region next week. Temperatures in the teens definitely look possible in the extended period as well, so maybe not a traditional spring snow.

Luckily the builders thought to put in a catch basin, or else the creek behind our house would be in our backyard. Someone needs to clear out the culvert at the end.
